"Just a note about the Olympia Airglide III jacket I recently bought from you. I bought one with the BRIGHT day-glow orange and yellow color combination called "Toxic" It is a great jacket, and has served its visibility and observability purpose very, very well. I've noticed people who at 1st did not see me on my bike, but then the jacket caught their eye. I'm convinced it has saved me from getting hit at least once; thankfully, it would have been a low-speed parking lot boo-boo. I would recommend this product to anyone."

"On June 24, 2008, I had my '08 R1200RT towed into your Tigard dealership for a repair. My ring aerial on the ignition lock had malfunctioned and needed a replacement. I was on a 3000 mile ride from the San Diego area and needless to say needed a timely repair. Service Advisor Garth Lobry handled the work order and the repair was handled by Trever Brunelle. My bike was repaired and ready to go in a very timely manner and I was off on my ride. I want to express my appreciation and thanks to Garth and Trever for their prompt attention to my bike and consideration for my situation. The fine reputation BMW dealers have established with riders on the road is reason enough to ride BMW. Thanks, Richard"

"I recently had to change my fuel pump on my 03 GT . I purchased it from BMW Tigard, Or. Since I didn't have the wrench or flange socket if you will , I took the tank into BMW and the service dept. loosened the flange for me. I then swapped out the bad part in the parking lot and they tightened the flange and torqued it for me. The service dept. was well over capacity as you could see bikes everywhere in the shop. I say thank you BMW Tigard for taken the 30 minutes to assist me . GREAT JOB and it is greatly APPRECIATED. Billy"

"My heartiest thanks to Richard and Brian for taking such good care of my bike....I'm happy to report that it ran strong for the 3,000 mile trip back to Houston. The bike did began to sputter a bit as we entered Amarillo TX but that was normal as the heat and scenic ugliness index had accelerated. Texas is an easy place to leave, but, damn, it's hard to come back. Good service is difficult to find but your shop seems to excel -- as I mentioned, two dealers before you had unsuccessfully "attempted" to fix the problem. Doug"

"I bought a K1200LT from another dealership in Idaho, and living in Bend, OR, I needed to service my new bike at the nearest dealership, so I took my K1200LT to the Eugene store, and basically fell in love with the staff! Even though I didn't buy my bike from their store, they treated me like I did. The whole staff, from parts to sales, to service treated me very, very well!. After a year of coming to their store from over a 100 miles away, I decided to buy a K1200S bike they had as a pre-owned bike. "Hi, Just wanted to say how pleased I was with the fine service I recieved at your store on Sat. Sept. 15th. After leaviing MN on Thursday the 13th and stopping the second night in Kennewick WA I had some concern about my rear tire so a google search found your shop. I pulled into your service area and was assisted right away with my concern about tire wear. Your service tech thought I would be able to make the trip without a tire. I asked if you might have a replacement in stock which you did. The tire was quickly mounted and a final drive leak was pointed out to me -fluid level checked and I was on my way. Great service and very friendly people--I can't say enough. The rest of the trip went great--99 to 101 to redwoods, then Grants Pass, Mckenzie Pass, into Glacier- logan pass was closed for road repair. The last day Thursday 20th. from Bismark ND home was a frog chocker rain. Sure glad I had the new rear tire. I would highly recommend your shop to antone I know who rides a beemer.Total trip mileage 4700 in 8 days. Thanks again for your friendly help."

"It had been my intention to drop a formal "Thank-you" note in the snail mail in appreciation of the generosity for the demo ride of the K1200GT and time you spent with me this past Father’s Day.

Recently, I was chagrined to come across your business card on my desk realizing I had yet to deliver on my lofty sentiments. So I’m compromising with myself and sending you this "E". I sincerely enjoyed my time at your store and came away totally impressed with BMW of Western Oregon Eugene & Tigard.

Having spent the day traveling to every BMW Dealer on the I-5 Corridor from Portland to Eugene, I felt I’d gotten a good idea of where BMW wants to go in the future with its dealerships. BMW Motorcycles of Western Oregon stores are definitely "Flagship" operations and I feel doing business with any of the others is a waste of time, bad business or both. I believe in the concept of "investing" in a service relationship with a dealer who invests in the people and facilities that speak to that mission by their very appearance and atmosphere. Only Western Oregon delivers on that level.

I believe I note that that beautiful machine I test rode is still stocked in inventory. I hope I’m soon successful in adjusting my fiscal picture to afford its purchase. But if that should not come to pass I will be contacting you sometime in the not-to-distant future about doing just that with some other K1200GT."

"In early May I was about to head out on a trip when my battery died and wouldn't hold a charge. I called BMWOR and Mark said if I came down the next day first thing in the morning they see what they could do. I arrived at 8:15am and at 8:30am Mark opened the door and quickly got me checked in. I had a cup of tea in the waiting area, chatted with Diane about the new 2007 GSs, met Tom the new sales manager and asked Lin some tire questions. Troy came looking for me at 9am and explained that my battery was faulty and that he would be installing a new one for me at no charge. I bought a new helmet shield from Josh and by the time he had it attached, Mark walked up and said I was ready to go. By 9:30am I was back on the road and ready to start my trip. Outstanding service, great people and no excuses; it doesn't get any better than that. "

"Last December I purchased a pair of Rallye 2 Pro Textile pants at BMWOR. I had been shopping for a pair of comfortable and quality riding pants for several months, and had already sold a nearly new pair of Revit pants that I was unhappy with. Josh and Lin helped me make a final selection, and provided some exceptional customer service, considering I had been in the shop trying on pants several times. Nearly 3 months later I am still very happy with the Rallye 2 Pro: waterproofing is excellent, armor is certainly efficient and stays positioned in the right places, and the pants stretch in all the right places for a comfortable fit. "I just wanted to write to you to offer my thanks again, and convey to you all how impressed my friend Colleen and I were by the very prompt and courteous service that I experienced in your dealership on the 20th of May, 2005. I dealt primarily with Scott and Madelyn, but everyone in the shop and service department were pleasant and very helpful to me that day. I arrived shortly after 1pm with no appointment on a GS Adventure sensing that my starter motor was about to gasp it's last breath. And then, as I sat in your parking lot and tried to start the bike the starter died, right there in your parking lot! I was very pleased and fortunate to have been at your shop when this happened. I was travelling from Victoria, BC, Canada to Eureka California for the " Sport-Touring.Net West Coast Regional Meet" when my problematic started gave up on me. My bike was wheeled into the service bay, and was quickly diagnosed with a faulty starter. Luckily for me and my riding partner, you had a starter for my bike in stock, and I was fixed up under warranty and ready to carry on my journey that afternoon. During our time in your dealership, we enjoyed looking at the large selection of new BMW's, talking to the staff, reading magazines and sipping hot drinks in the lounge area. I bought a BMW cap, and a throttle rocker while my friend Colleen offered up some Nikwax products information. We were also pleased to use your internet access to let our friends know we would be late for the meet. The show room and customer lounge area are great, and the service shop was large and clean. This is the way a motorcycle dealership should be! My kudos to your entire staff, customer service specialists and mechanics for delivering a very pleasant experience to a traveller in need."

"My wife and I recently passed through Eugene on our way up to Canada from Los Angeles. All I needed was a quart of oil to carry for my R1200ST as she was just breaking in. I never expected to be greeted with such genuine interest in who we were, where we were from and where we were headed. But that is just how Diane greeted us. We had a great time talking to her and the other staff about Beemers in general and long rides, Canadian roads, etc...I always make it a point to stop in on BMW dealers wherever I am in the US. Some don't give the time of day. But BMWOR had all the time in the world even though all I was buying was oil and a T-shirt. Their caring for what they do shows. Very cool place indeed. You guys should be proud!"

"Dear Madelyn and Scott, Thank you for your assistance on my recent cross country trip. Due to a tire mishap in Michigan, my front windshield needed replacing on my 1980 R65. My buddy Doug's new bike needed servicing. Our scheduled servicing was completed on a busy day. Madelyn, taking us to the local disc golf course and letting us use your washer and dryer went beyond the call of duty. I appreciate your kindness and the professionalism of your business. "Hello Scott and Madelyn, We just wanted to write and thank you for your wonderful service and support. On Saturday we dropped by your new shop for a new tire, and then went on our way for a day of touring. We headed West out of Eugene for a scenic loop back to our home in Corvallis. Near Triangle Lake on Highway 36 our bike broke down and our cell phone was unable to get a connection. Finally a logging truck stopped to see if we needed help. We gave him our BMW Roadside Assistance information and to let them know we wanted to be towed to your shop for repairs. When the tow truck picked us up I kept checking to see if the cell phone was in service, so I could call to let you know we were on our way in, and schedule the repairs. When the cell phone finally connected I was able to call your shop. Imagine my surprise to find that the logging truck driver had called you and you were out looking for us. My wife Dawnlee and I just wanted to express our deep appreciation for the extra effort you and your team put in to looking out for your customers. We have been hoping for a BMW dealer presence to come back into the Willamette Valley and we could not be more pleased. It's such a pleasure to be a motorcycle rider in Oregon. Everyone is friendly and helpful, going out of their way to offer assistance. However leaving work on a busy day (big sale day) to rescue stranded riders is above and beyond the call of duty. Lewis and Madelyn stayed late to see that our bike was safely tucked away in the shop and offered a ride to help us get on our way back home. My apologies to the customers who missed you at the shop while you were out looking for us, and again, "Thank you so much" for your efforts on our behalf.
